The use of a conformity symbol of certified management system

The right to use the conformity symbol of certified management system is provided to the applicant organization which has received a conformity certificate for management system within the system. Requirements for the shape and size of a symbol of conformity, as well as the rules for its usage are set in TCP 5.1.08.

Within the system are installed the following marks of conformity given in pictures 1, 2:

• Picture 1 – for quality management systems, which conformity to the requirements of STB ISO 9001 is confirmed by certification;
• Picture 2 – for OHSAS, which conformity to the requirements of STB18001 is confirmed by certification;

The applicant organization may use the symbol of conformity of certified management system during the term of validity of the certificate of compliance for management system.

Position of the symbol of conformity of certified management system establishes the applicant organization which has received the right to its use.

Symbol of conformity of the certified management system can be used by the manufacturing organization on promotional products.

The applicant organization – the owner of the certificate of compliance of management system is responsible for the improper use of a symbol of conformity of certified management system.

The certification body shall require that the applicant organization:

• meets the requirements of the certification body when referring to the status of their certification in the means of communication (eg, the Internet), in promotional materials, and other documents;
• did not do or did not allow to make statements that are misleading in regard to the scope of the certified management system;
• not use or permit to use the certification document or any part of if in a misleading manner;
• after suspension or cancelation of the certificate of conformity stop to use all promotional materials that refer to the certificate of conformity;
• make changes in all sources, including promotional materials, in the case of reducing the scope of the certificate of conformity;
• not permitted to use the link on the certification of its management system in such a way that implied that the certification body certifies products (works / services).

The applicant organization – the owner of the certificate of compliance of management system is responsible for the improper use of a mark of conformity of the certified management system.
